CAPE COD!

Basically, my grandparents live in a small cottage in Cape Cod for 6 months out of the year. Not going to reveal the name of the town. Almost every summer we come and visit them at their cottage . Its a nice long relaxing vacation. Schedule: wake up, eat breakfast, go to the beach, go eat lunch, go to the beach, eat dinner, watch Olympics. Yes, the Olympics! I am obsessed, but thats a different story.

Wow yesterday was probably the best day I've had all summer. Warped Tour was amazingg! First we saw Relient K, who were so good live and we were really close and yeah it was exciting.

and sweatyness and jumping and ah. good times Between The Trees. I had never heard of them, but they were really good

Warped Tour!

Tomorrow I'm going to Warped Tour! I am soo excited you have no idea haha. It'll be my first time, and I'm looking forward to the bands and the atmosphere and ahh! It'll be my first big festivalish concert haha, I've only been to kind of lame ones in a theater or arena type setting where everyone has seats and It's fun, but its not as intense. I'm especially pumped for Motion City Soundtrack. Anyways, who else has been to Warped? What bands have you seen? I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and post them after tomorrow.

obama for your mama

Saturday, I went to a youth for Obama meeting. Some State Politicians and Campaign workers from our town were there. It was very inspiring, and after they all spoke they had us split into groups and go door to door asking undecided voters who they were planning on voting for. We had a list of names and addresses, it was kind of scary but also decently fun. After about two hours of that, we came back and they handed out sheets to apply to intern at the Obama office downtown. Basically, you make calls, go door to door canvasing people and hand out fliers and brochures. I'm thinking about applying, but your supposed to dedicate 15-20 hours per week so I might just volunteer every once and awhile.

Anyways, the point to all of this is who are you planning to vote for? Whether its McCain or Obama you should get involved, just because you can't vote doesn't mean you can't do something. Find out if and where your cities Obama or McCain campaign office is and ask if you can help out. If you are going to complain if the candidate you support didn't win the election, then you've got to do something about it.

Well, I've officially become my worst enemy. The full of herself blogger who thinks her page is the shit and spends all of her free time trying to make it look pretty and writing witty comments and poems. Whatever, its something to do, I'm bored and this will probably die out in a couple weeks unless I truly enjoy it. Anyways, I'm Jackie. I'm 16, I live in Wisconsin, and this is my little project.
